Instead of reading static text listings, buyers watch real videos from sellers — tours, day-in-the-life clips, owner introductions, financial walkthroughs — before ever reaching out. We believe seeing is believing when it comes to a major purchase.

Traditional marketplaces show you numbers and photos. Vy2B shows you the business in action. Video builds trust faster than text, attracts more serious buyers, and cuts the time from listing to deal. We also offer a TikTok-style video feed so buyers discover businesses they never would have searched for.

Yes — creating an account, browsing listings, watching videos, and saving listings are all free for buyers. You only pay if you close a deal through the platform (see our Pricing page for the platform fee).

Sign in, click "+ Add Listing" in the nav bar, fill in the basic details (name, price, revenue, location), and submit. Your listing goes live instantly. Then upload a video from your phone or computer — listings with video receive up to 10× more buyer inquiries.

The most effective videos are: a quick business tour (show the space and equipment), a day in the life clip (what does running this business actually look like?), a meet-the-owner intro (buyers want to trust who they're buying from), and a financials walkthrough (talk through the numbers on camera). Record vertical on your phone and upload directly — no editing needed.

Sellers list for free. We make money from buyer memberships — buyers subscribe (Basic or Pro) to contact sellers and unlock confidential listings. Browsing is free; membership is only for buyers ready to make contact. Membership keeps the marketplace serious and every listing discreet. Vy2B is a marketplace, not a licensed brokerage — we always recommend a licensed broker and attorney to complete your sale.

Two layers. First, we review sellers before they're posted — including tax returns, profit & loss statements, and bank statements — and mark reviewed listings with a 🔍 Financials Reviewed badge. Second, and more important: you verify it yourself. After you agree on a price, you get access to the actual books during due diligence to confirm the numbers before you commit a dollar. You're never asked to trust a badge alone.

Yes. The seller's point of contact verifies their identity with a government ID, shown as a ✓ Seller ID Verified badge — you're dealing with a real, accountable person, not an anonymous email. Serious buyers verify proof of funds too (💰 Funds Verified), so sellers know an offer is real before they open their books.

You never wire money directly to a seller and hope. Funds go through a neutral, licensed escrow agent — the same way a home closing works. The escrow holds the money and only releases it when ownership actually transfers and the closing conditions are met. If due diligence turns up that the numbers don't match what was claimed, you can walk away and your deposit is returned per the escrow terms.

Yes. Brokers are welcome. Note in the description that you represent the seller, and add your broker contact details in the listing edit form.

On any listing page, scroll to the "Express Interest" form, fill in your name, email, and a brief message. The seller or broker will receive your inquiry and contact you directly. You can also save listings to your profile to track businesses you're watching.

Some listings carry a "Verified Financials" badge — this means our team has reviewed supporting documentation (P&L statements, tax returns, bank statements). Listings without the badge show seller-reported figures that have not been independently verified. Always conduct your own due diligence before any acquisition.

Each listing has a Q&A section where you can submit questions publicly. The seller can answer in text or upload a video response. This creates a transparent, searchable record of seller representations that benefits both parties.

A "Price Reduced" badge appears automatically when a seller lowers their asking price. Save the listing to your profile to keep track of it — we are working on email alerts for saved listings.

Use the flag button on any video or contact us at legal@vy2b.com. Our moderation team reviews flagged content within 24 hours.
